I have long hair down to about the middle of my back. Between it falling out everywhere and my DS grabbing it, I'm debating cutting it. My H likes it long and normally I do too so I'm not sure yet.
Anyone chop their hair off after having LO? Or is anyone planning to now?
Re: Haircuts
That's why it's called "mom hair"
I have long hair and cut it into a short bob after having DS1. I regretted it. I look fine with shorter hair, but far prefer my long hair. But mainly, once it was short, I could no longer wear it back/pulled into a pony tail, which meant DS could grab it even more!! I didn't cut it after DD or DS2, and just wear it up or braided when I start shedding and/or LO starts grabbing hair.
Ha! Sounds like something my H would say. :P
I'm not thinking of going full on mom bob. Lol! Maybe shoulder length..
3 years ago, I had a really cute pixie cut. Now, it's halfway down my back. I'm lazy about getting haircuts.
Anyway, I'm so ready to go short again. My hair is frizzy and wavy, but not really curly. I use to always straighten it. At this length though, blow dry and straighten takes 30+ minutes. I started trying to wear it wavy at the end of my pregnancy, since I didn't think I'd have time to straighten it after I had a baby. Turns out I don't even have time to babysit it while it air dries so the waves look like anything other than a hot mess.
I'm totally thinking of going shoulder length or shorter, so I can go back to a quick blow dry straight. But now I have to find a salon to go to, and make an appointment, and figure out what to do with the baby, and I've already had to stop several times just while typing this because he's screaming no matter where he is or what I do with him, so yeah, it'll probably stay long for a while still.

DH prefers my hair long, too, but it's not that short. I mean it is from where it was, but it's not like it's a bob or anything. He doesn't mind it now that he's used to it. Especially since I hadn't worn it down in so long anyway. At least he sees my hair down now, and not in a wet, messy knot on the top of my head!
