Diaper Rash

My DS has a diaper rash and his skin is cracking and bleeding a little. We have been using Bag Balm, but it isn't helping and now we are trying Destin. Any other ideas or suggestions. It is so sad to see him cry and scream when he gets his diaper changed. TIA!!

    Put him on a towel on the floor and leave the diaper off as long as you can. The fresh air helps heal it. Also, if you can stick him in front of a window in the morning so the light is shining in on him, that also helps. The sunlight kills the bacteria.

    Patting instead of wiping is a big help, too.

    Give him some naked time!

    Also, don't use regular wipes for a while, they can be drying.  Instead, use a soft wash cloth with warm water.

    I had the same problem , I used A&D and I live by that now , i used the the plain one ...

    Wash him, no more wipes for a while- and then let him air dry.
