We didn't actually get one. However, I tried it out in store and LOVED it though! We were going to get a Baby Jogger City Select w/ the 2nd seat. It rides great, folds easily, handles amazing, and is so versatile! It was also one of the few that had the second set in the proper alignment and not in a dumb one (like the Britax or UPPA baby). It's biggest pro's are that it's technically a single stroller, but with the option of doing a double. So when the time comes and you no longer need a double it can go back to a single.
We have a city mini. Love how easy it steers, light weight, easy to fold/unfold. Love the side by side... we had front to back before and it was terrible to steer, bulky, and the kids hated it. Hate the storage of the city mini, although I've heard newer models are better, ours is a 2011. Also, before adding all the bells and whistles it's kind of expensive for the basic stroller.
I have an older model Baby Jogger City Select Double (side by side). We walk a lot --every night for a good distance)--and were walking even further when we first bought it. We just moved and are negotiating a new nightly route. Anyway, since we are on varied terrain and will use the hell out of it, I invested in a nicer double stroller. I found mine on CraigsList.
i asked the same question a few days ago & someone recommended the bumbleride twin stroller but the price had me almost fall off my chair!!
Are most double strollers $600-700???
If you take a look at the crappy cheaper brands (like graco) they are between 300-400$ anyways, I don't see a big deal paying the extra 100-200$ for a nice long lasting stroller. I would pay 600$ for a stroller that could be a single or a double, that way I am getting what I pay for.

This. I had the single BJCM, and just bought the double and I LOVE it (haven't used on two yet, but it's so smooth). I did not get the GT. I prefer the forever tires. My BOB has gone flat on me before, and I don't want to deal with that and two babies. I also do not need a hand break. The 2011 was 379. on Amazon.
