This! Usually you can start to feel hiccups around week 26 or so, as that is when the baby begins to hiccup (go figure), and that is pretty much exactly what it feels like. My DD had hiccups all the time and it was like having a bubble machine in my uterus.

yea. hiccups. i find them rather annoying though. i like feeling her move but the hiccups bother me.
Ditto. Usually I like feeling him or her wiggling around, but sometimes they find the most inconvenient spots to hiccup on Like my bladder while I'm driving, or my rib cage.
But in response to OPs question, if it's continuous, as in more than a few minutes, it might be what another poster on here called the pregnancy heebie jeebies. I get them every so often, and it basically feels like big time butterflies, or like you had wayyyyyy too much caffeine, and can last for a couple of hours. It makes you feel like you need to run around the block a few times. I have no clue what it actually is, but it's an incredibly annoying feeling.
A woman's life is nine parts mess to one part magic, you'll learn that soon enough...and the parts that look like magic turn out to be the messiest of all.
