Flu shot?

Our Ped already suggested a flu shotanyone else? Dreading it...

    Yes. He had his first flu shot yesterday. I think that is what made him feel so crummy (but it needed to be done). He will go back for his second Flu shot in 29 days.

    Yup, our little one got the flu vaccine along with her 6 month battery of shots. We went ahead and gave it to her since she's in day care. Our doctor administers the flu vaccine to infants in 2 smaller shots spaced out a few weeks instead of 1 bigger shot. Be warned, the shot packs a wallop. Our DD had a fever and was fussy for 2 days afterwards. Upon calling the office about this, the nurse reported that many babies are having this reaction. It subsides in 24-48 hours.

    6 months is usually when they get them. We are opting out of it.

    His 6 mth shots are in October. Since dad works/lives at the hospital the ped already suggested we get the flu shot for LO. We're not looking forward to any of them!

    Little Girl got her first part of the flu shot today at her 6 month check up, and we have to go back in a month for the second part. So far, so good, but she's an amazingly good baby...
