from what i remember, your chances are actually lower after your first, but then increase a little after your second ... don't quote me on this, I'm going from memory!
I agree with snowflake also. However, I can't be sure that the odds go up after 2, it might be 3. I know for me, after 2 m/cs, I was not an increased risk for additional m/c, but that's because my losses were so different. I think if you have similar losses the odds may go up, but otherwise they go down.
So, short answer: After 1 m/c, no you are not at an increased risk for another m/c.
I know I'm chiming in a bit late on this one, but my dr. told me that you have the same percentage of risk to have a 2nd m/c as you do to have 1. So basically, odds-wise you are the same after 1 m/c as you are if you've never had any.
I'm not totally sure but the American Pregnancy Association states that
A woman who has had a previous miscarriage has a 25% chance of
having another (only a slightly elevated risk than for someone who
has not had a previous miscarriage)
