bloody show and labor?

I'm waiting to call the doc back as they requested but I've been playing with google in the meantime and am thinking it's very possible the discharge I've had today may be the bloody show...how long til labor usually?

    Yay for you! I lost mine the other day. The baby started moving like crazy and has been ever since. Still no labor though. Unfortunately we get all excited thinking we made progress but then...waiting..... and more waiting LOL. It can happen anytime now though. From what I understand you can go today or in several weeks. Sorry its not such great news but hey .... your on your way!

    With my DD1 I had my bloody show two weeks before I went into labor and my water never broke. Another one of those "at the end" moments but not a "this is it" definate sign.

    I will be happy as a clam if she stays in there until her CS date!! I have no desire to be in active labor during it!  I'm going to try to get some more stuff done just in case it happens earlier so MIL doesn't freak out when she gets here and sees that we are living like hoarders!
