See Kai Run VS. Robeez Mini Shoez

Which one would you recommend for a beginner walker? I tried Dylan's brothers old Stride Rite shoes on him today and he hated them. He froze and wouldn't move. I'm thinking it's because they're too heavy for his feet. He's used to wearing Robeez soft sole in the house and he furniture cruises around with those on all the time. He's starting to let go of furniture and walk a few steps so I want to get him something a little sturdier. Would you recommend See Kai Run or Robeez Mini Shoez?

Thanks :)

  • I love SKR shoes (the smaller line is so flexible and light)  But, I also love SR's shoes that are between regular walker and the Robeez.  They are flexible and light too.

  • Thanks :) Has anyone heard of Pediped? Looks like they're a popular shoe too.

  • All of DD's shoes are See Kai Run and Pediped. We love them!

  • Our LO loves PediPed but also does that freeze stance/desperately grabs at his Robeeze/Stride Rite.

  • I'm a huge fan of See Kai Run, that's mostly what I buy now. I did have a pair of Pediped that she's outgrown that I also really liked.

Stride Rite is NMS for girls - too much hot pink, glitter, etc. I like a nice neutral shoe she can wear with anything!

  • We ended up getting talked into Geox. I know they're a great shoe, just expensive. I don't mind dishing out the money though since his feet are developing and they're easy for him to walk in.

  • I usually lurk but we were actually just gifted a pair of Pediped's and a pair of See Kai Run so I felt I should respond. I really like the SKR, however, for the price they seem to have fallen apart really quickly. DD has worn both to daycare (and out on the playground) and the SKR's look really dirty and worn out already. But the Pediped's look brand new! I actually asked daycare if she was actually wearing them outside because they look so good. So, for that reason, I would say Pediped's.
