Ok, not the fun drinks kind, the four month kind. Is is the same vaccinations as 2 months or do they add more fun stuff. My internets are being too slow for me to look it up and I am lazy and sleep deprived.
I think ours was the same. Reading through the schedule they handed me, I noticed they're a little different at 6 mos. My DD didn't react the first go round but this time her little cheeks were pink for 2 days and she was clingy.
I just hate holding her while they give her shots. Her little body tenses up and she screams bloody murder. I just want to knock the needles out of the nurses hand and run out of there but that would be a tad crazy
I have a friend who has never immunized her 2 year old. I get it...but I'm not willing to run the risk of my girl getting seriously ill.
Mine got, DTaP, Hib, PCV and Rota. 3 of them were shots and one was oral, but I don't know which was which. They felt like absolute crap for 2 days and refused to be put down except to nap, which they did very little of as well. Their legs were REALLY sore for 3 or 4 days afterwards. I think I gave them each 1 dose of Tylenol the next day for a low fever and their soreness (which I didn't have to do for their 2 month shots), but other than that it was OK.
Ds2 had his shots yesterday and they have thrown him for a loop. He is so pitiful and has been running fever and doesn't want to be put down. Soooo different from 2 month shots.
I think... What we had was the 2nd HepB and 2nd Dtap... Other than that it was Rotovirus (sp) and Polio.
It was not as bad as the two month shots at least in my opinion. Her face got red, she cried, and then I gave her a bottle to feel all better. She took a rocking nap after. I didn't even give her tyelnol.

Hope that helps!
