So Question when to tell people

Ok so....  I was wanting to wait till about 13/14 weeks to tell everyone that I am pregnant.  I am a Type 1 Diabetic so its a little more scary for me.  However, majority of the people I know have told like everyone and I am further along then all of them.  Is it still ok to wait to the 13/14 week mark?

    There is no hard and fast rule or set time that it's okay.  Some people wait until they're out of the first tri (13 weeks) other people tell right away and some wait until 20 weeks depending on their history.   Tell people whenever you choose to or feel comfortable.

    Do what feels right for you and your DH. I have a lot of friends and family who tell their news the moment they test positive. I, however, do not feel comfortable doing this. I'll be making my announcement later this weeks when I am out of the 1st trimester:)

    I have told a few people (non-family and close friends), but my husband prefers to wait until the 18/20 week mark for his co-workers. I think you do what you feel is right. The first time around I was able to hide my pregnancy (if I wanted) until about 18/20 weeks.

    I have type 2 diabeties & I plan on waiting until 20 weeks. Hopefully my bump won't give it away!

     Either way do what it comfortable for you.

    In the last week alone, I had two FB friends post that they were pregnant at 9 and 6 weeks.  6 is far too early IMO! 9 is ok, but we're waiting until about 12.5 weeks.  Wait until you're ready!

    i don't know when we are going to tell people. my mom is ready to EXPLODE and do the FB announcement, but i want to wait a little longer. i feel like i should wait until after i'm over the 1st trimester hump, just to be safe, but that's like another 4 weeks! i'm torn and confused...
