State Board Exams..and PIP just 'cause :)

Been studying my arse off for a couple weeks now because, like always, I procrastinated in scheduling my exams until THE week my internship is invalid if I don't pass...I had 5 years.  I've been working in the business for 12 yrs but Washington made a law change that stated you can only be an intern for 5 years (5 years ago obvi). A "pee of get of the pot" type of thing.  So I know most of this stuff but still it's daunting. Exams are tomorrow in Portland. eeeekkkkkkk

OHH and just because I can't freakin' wait until Halloween so here are a couple pics, his lion mane I got for only 20$ off ebay homemade (I couldn't even make one for that cheap) for his costume. He doesn't even mind wearing it at all..

    Funeral direction..family business for years and years and years..yawn :) Actually I really enjoy everything about it. Meeting with the families and taking care of every pain-staking detail seems to be in my cards.

    Good luck.  It took me a year to pass my licensing exams (took it 3 times!) and it was such a relief to finally have it all done and behind me.

    For funeral directing? What state are you in? I live in Washington the funeral board exam is the same exam that's given nationally, Portland,OR was a closer testing center than Renton, WA

    I think that's really interesting. It takes a certain kind of person to work with grieving families.

    I guess I did make that sound like I was in the same field! No, I'm not in funeral directing. I was going more for the 'I know the stress of taking board exams' angle. I'm an orthotist.
