Heard the little one's heart beat again today at the OB. It's the best sound in the world. It took her a while to find it, so I was getting anxious, but she got it eventually.

I'm feeling ok, nausea is a lot better but I'm still exhausted and the food aversions won't go away. Hopefully I'm starting my last few weeks of this! Anxiously awaiting our next u/s appt at 14 weeks.

QOTW: We told our parents and siblings after our first u/s at 8 weeks. They didn't know we had gone through another cycle of IVF so it was a total surprise. I was hoping to tell extended family and work at 12 weeks but I am already showing (because of bloating and giant ovaries, I think). I've already had multiple people ask me if I'm expecting. I feel terrible lying! We'll see how the next few days go...

As for FB, I think I'll wait to post about the gender at 18 weeks or so, if nobody outs me first!

Hi there, I'm due May 19 with twins. Feeling hungry most of the time, and picky about food as well.

QOTW: We let DH's family know the news this past weekend (at 6w), my mom knew shortly after our beta, but she was one of only 3 people that knew we were even cycling. I work with some nasty chemicals at work so am meeting with my HR rep on Monday to ask about adapting my role for the next couple of months. Everyone else will know at 12 weeks or later.

I don't plan on announcing anything on facebook, I'll put a picture of the babies up sometime after they are here. Just don't want to jinx anything, and also vividly remember the sting of seeing unexpected announcements when we were ttc.

Update: We had an RE visit today bc of some spotting and cramping and saw baby w/ h/b of 106. and measuring right on track! Trying to figure out a way to decrease the mild OHSS and deal with the SCH that has developed during pregnancy w/o cheating work too much!

QOTW: Our families are thrilled! They knew we were doing IVF so we told them after seeing the h/b at 6w.

I told my boss because I work with hazardous chemicals and needed to adjust some things at work, he looked thoroughly perplexed. My workplace has never had a pregnant employee (they are mostly men).

I would love to join the check-in! According to Internet calculators, my due date is 5.30.13

I have my first u/s on Tuesday of next week. So far, been a little crampy on and off and things taste weird sometimes, but nothing major, knock on wood.

QOTW-We plan on telling family members and close friends (at least the ones that won't blab the news to the world) after we see a heartbeat. Though I am supposed to hang out with family over the weekend, and not sure I can not blab myself. I will tell work after first tri, not sure about FB. I might not post on FB at all.

Amusingly enough, the sushi chef at our fav restaurant now knows. DH picked up an order, and the chef was insistent that the order must be wrong, as "she loves salmon." DH finally just told him.

OB class this Thursday... apparently it's a class on what to expect at the OB appointments.. cue a small eye roll here for now. Next u/s should be a week from today at my first OB appointment

QOTW - I let my mom know a few days after my positive beta. I let dad know a few days after that after u/s #1, and we've let immediate family (DH's mom and our siblings) know after u/s #2. If our next u/s looks good, I'll probaby out myself at work. My current boss knows right now, but not everyone else. We'll let the rest of the family know then too. And I'm guessing after that someone will out me on FB and we'll go from there. Otherwise I"ll make a general announcement at 24wks

Hi Ladies -

I'm just so tired all. the. time. I hope this lifts in the next month or so. I've got things to do! Like bringing home bacon... and planning DS #1's new room.

I go to my RE one last time on Thursday, then I'm released to the OB, which I am scheduled with on 10/11. I'm going to talk to them about going with a specialist who will deliver at the NICU an hour away instead of at the small hospitals in town with no NICU.

My mom knew from day of transfer because I took her with me. My MIL found out after we saw the first U/S and found out it was twins around 6 weeks. FIL and Step-MIL found out about a week later. I told my boss right around 6 wks too because I've been so pathetic at work. I also told a couple others at work the last few days. I will be out out to the rest of the family the first weekend in october. I have a SIL coming in from out of town, so that'll take care of DH's family, my family will likely find out via Facebook or picture message as they are all out of town. I should be about 10 weeks then.

So excited I got to see LO again today all scrunched up in my ute. Peanut has long legs now not like last week when it looked like a gummy bear lol. HB still going strong.

My close family has pretty much known about my pregnancy since the day I was PUPO. I always found comfort in talking to family about my infertility issues so I couldn't keep the secret. FB will have to wait till about 13 weeks and then I shall let the world in on my little joy.

I have another US on Thursday, hopefully A & B will still be there, and hopefully they'll have heartbeats. I'm very afraid that one or both of those things won't be true. EDD is 05/20/13. I'm feeling... exhausted (I take a 3 hour nap everyday), nauseated, very picky about food, still constipated (although Colace, MOM, juice and positioning do help) and have to pee all the time. Oh, and my stomach is still so bloated that I'm in yoga pants or maternity skirts.

QOTW: There are a few close friends who knew about our IF, so they know about the current success. We won't tell anyone else, or any family members, until 12 - 13 weeks. We'll be out to the world at that point I guess, but we won't be out on FB until closer to third tri.

No updates this week. I'm showing, I've been in maternity pants for over a week now.
I came out at work at 9 weeks last Thursday. I told my teammates and they screamed so other teachers and staff came running in and then it spread like a wild fire. I kind of feel relieved. I can wear whatever and everyone is so excited for me!

My next appointment is the 10th and my NT scan is the 17th.

I haven't been sick since Friday, knock on wood. I'm feeling pretty good other than being tired!

QOTW: We told parents the day of my beta, siblings after 2nd beta. Other close friends and family have found out as we have seen them. Since there are 2, I am obviously showing, I am telling people earlier than I would have liked.

QOTW: We have already told our immediate family. We wanted them to know right away since we've had two losses. We will probably start telling other friends as soon as we get kicked from the RE. I was thinking that a Thanksgiving Day FB/general announcement would be fitting - that would be 14w.

I had my first u/s this week on Monday and we have 2 sacs and 2 heartbeats, twins! My next u/s was next Monday 10/1, but then I got a call today from my nurse asking to move it to Tuesday, b/c my RE wants to do the u/s herself instead of an u/s tech. Of course that immediately had me concerned and I asked "is something wrong?" Nurse said my RE just wanted to be personally involved, and that's great, but I can't help reading into it and thinking something may be wrong, why can't this be easy??

QOTW: Just a handful of close friends know right now. We won't tell our parents until 13 weeks (my mom cannot keep a secret; she told everyone about our first pregnancy and then I had a miscarriage, I dont't want to go through that again). I don't think we'll be out on FB till maybe after the anatomy scan.

Only update is that All-Day-Sickness has hit. This is day 3 of it and I can barely drag myself out of bed... but I'm reading Dr. Luke's Expecting Multiples book so I'm feeling a lot of urgency to eat... its a vicious cycle.

QOTD: My parents and siblings know about PG and twins, but only one of DH's siblings know about PG and twins, and another IL knows about PG. We're really hesitant to tell people about the twins since we somehow think it's going to jinx us to get people too excited too early. DH is a FB addict so I'm guessing he'll want to make that announcement, but I'm going to try to push him off until after 20 weeks. I'm not sure how long I'll be able to hold off telling family and friends who I see, since I'm guessing I'll be showing very soon.

So far this has been a great week. I had my first appointment with the OB yesterday and it went amazingly well. My OB is soooo nice. She said she understood I'd been through a lot to get there, so that if DH and I were ever struggling mentally or just needed some reassurance, to schedule an U/S with them and they'd be more than happy to give us a peek. They let us see baby yesterday and it was so cute dancing around. Blows my mind that baby is moving already. Measuring right on track and had a beautifully strong heart beat. They want me back next week just to track growth and said to bring anyone we wanted to see, so we're taking my MIL.

QOTW: we told immediate family as soon as beta one's results were back they knew we were going through IVF. Some of my coworkers know now. I hadn't planned on telling ppl this early but am so excited about it that it's started coming out.

I think your RE just wants some of the "OMG isn't that amazing" happy and rewarding part of the process. It can't all be reassuring nervous hormonal people about slow-growing follicles and estrogen producing cysts, all day, every day, right? Do not worry!

Next OB apt on the 2nd of October, so a lot of waiting around and trusting that baby is doing okay I've actually had an attack of morning sickness over the last few days- No regular MS for the first 11 weeks but suddenly it shows up almost to 12 weeks? WTF body. Apart from that, doing great.

QOTW: We've had a spread out telling. Best friend knew practically before the pee stick dried, my parents/sister at the second beta, ILs we're especially close to around 6 weeks, and we've let it work it's way through the gossip mill since it was no longer much of a secret. Example: My SIL's future inlaws found out this weekend. Oh no.... No, really, just don't care. We will be coming out on facebook in the next week or two, I just have to work myself up to it. With facebook comes all the distant relatives and friends who I haven't kept in good touch with.

Can I be added? EDD according to internet calculators is 5/27/13. We had a very early u/s at approx 5w on Monday and there was a tiny little dot in the uterus. We go next week at 6w2d and hope to see a sac and fetal pole. If we're really lucky, hoping for a heartbeat too but I know it could be too early.

QOTW: My DH was out of town when I got my BFP but my mom was here. I showed her the pee stick! Our immediate family already knows as do a couple of close friends. I figured if it is someone I am close enough to tell about a miscarriage I would tell them that I am pregnant too. We won't come out to work, extended family, and the rest of our friends until we get into 2nd tri.

Update: I've been trying to schedule my first OB appt since my RE has more or less released me and they still haven't called me back. I've been feeling pretty crappy lately...no appetite but super nauseous when I don't eat anything, extremely exhausted, little to no patience for anything. We had our first u/s on Monday and got to see our little bean for the first time. Saw the flickering heartbeat on the screen and it was the most amazing sight. I've been wearing lots of loose skirts and dresses to school bc my pants are tight already, but the Bella Band is on its way so hopefully that will help. Definitely trying to enjoy every minute of this pregnancy despite feeling like this.

QOTW: My mom has known about everything since our first IVF consult appointment. She has gotten regular phone calls throughout the process and knew about all the beta results. Same thing with my BFF. ILs and SIL knew after the first beta. My dad and brother knew after the second beta. I plan to tell work around Halloween time (right around 12 weeks) if I can make it that long. I'd like to surprise the rest of our family at Thanksgiving when we see them but I probably will call some close cousins before then and I'm sure it will spread like wildfire! No plans about FB yet...maybe when we find out the gender.

First tri going very well....the nausea has seemed to pass (at least most of it). I still feel exhausted most of the time. I know I should be thrilled for such an easy pregnancy! But I just wish I could stop worrying that the lack of symptoms means something has gone wrong! But I have an US appt tomorrow so fingers crossed!

QOTW: My DB's Mom and Dad knew right away, his siblings we told about 3 weeks ago and we tell my family after the US. Not sure about FB yet.

We had our last ultrasound with my RE last thursday and saw the little peanut moving around and the heart flickering. FHR was up to 175 bpm. I met with a nurse at my OB's office yesterday just to go over history, paperwork, and do blood work. My first appt. with my OB is next Monday Oct. 1st. I'm going to miss all the extra care I got with my RE.

QOTW: We told our parents the same day we got our first beta back. We hesitated to tell SIL and her fiancee because they are getting married in Hawaii in April and we knew we wouldn't be able to make the wedding with my due date. SIL said congrats to us when we told them but seems upset and we have not heard from her since. SIL is a whole other issue in itself and she really p!sses me off. Most of our good friend know now also because they knew we were going through IF and have asked. I won't tell my boss and the rest of the world until after 1st trimester.

My symptoms come and go. I had one really bad night of nausea which resulted in no dinner and dreaming about vomitting. My next appt is next Friday. I find myself getting more anxious everyday. I'll be 8w tomorrow.

We've told out immediate family and only a couple of friends who knew we were doing IVF. We will tell everyone else once we're out of the 1st tri. I go back and forth about making a FB announcement. Out of the blue pregnancy accouncents were always a little difficult for me. If I do decide to tell FB, I'm going to somehow word it to include our journey.

3 weeks to NT scan... Can't wait that long for alien contact. Going to try and schedule a sonogram for next week.
