Baby fever that is!
We have been indecisive about how much of an age gap between kids, 2 or 3 years, but I am really starting to get the itch. I am still bf'ing and haven't gotten a period yet. We aren't using any bc (but we also haven't been doing it too often), so I am kind of hoping for a suprise soon.
It's crazy that I want to be pregnant again. I didn't have an awful pregnancy, just VERY uncomfortable; morning sickness, reflux, back pain. But I miss it =(
Also, I know its going to be a stretch financially. The wise decision would probable be to wait..... but I just can't get it out of my head!
Who else is in the same boat? I remember Chunstad saying she was, right?
Re: I'm getting the fever....
Ugh..I have the FEVER!! WE are actively trying, and I thought this was the month, but I think AF is on her way...stupid b!tch!!
MH and I know it will be a little tight financially, but we want them to be close.
I never thought in a million years that I would miss being pregnant..but I miss it.
I have chronic baby fever. I'm trying to be responsible and stick to our original plan of spacing them out 2-3 years. I've actually since thought that I'd love to have them a bit closer together, but financially we'll be better if we stick with the original plan.
But to be completely honest, the only thing keeping me from saying "Screw it!" and convincing DH that we need to start TTC right now is that I want to go visit my brother and his wife in London in June. Which means I need to not be too pregnant to fly, so we need to hold off for a couple more months. But I don't wanna! (said in my whiniest voice)

Yes I am! Of course, no AF yet, and I'm still BF. However (knock on wood) he's been sleeping through the night, so I'm surprised that AF hasn't come to visit. We aren't doing anything to prevent it either, but not doing it as often as needed, probably. My cycle is something like 35 days when it's normal. I had an awesome pregnancy, so does that mean my next one will be a total b!tch?
We just watched "What to expect when you are expecting". Eh, it was okay. However, when everyone delivered the babies in the end made me teary eyed. Especially the couple with the emergency c-section (that was us). The fever was raised a couple degrees then.
I love this! :
This is exactly how I felt when I got pregnant again. One of the first thoughts was, "Omg, this will be the last time I POAS" or, "This will be the last time.. xyz happens.." It makes me sad, but it's bittersweet, too.
Yea, it sucks haha. But I guess the good part is that I never knew if I was exhausted from being pregnant or from having a baby who hates sleeping.
Damnit, I thought this was going to be about Bieber Fever.
I would love to have another baby in the near future, but we still have over $10,000 to pay for Cash's NICU stay (that is even with what insurance covered). We are going to talk about it in another year when C is 2 and if not then we will wait another year and if that point it's still a no then we are done. Dh is young, but I will be in my mid 30's then and while it's perfectly fine to have children then, it's not something I want to do.
Holy cow, Tysons! That is a lot of dough.
We are only having two as well, for sure. I suppose you could say I was developing a fever as three friends had babies in the last three months, and then...
Can I move to Canada now? I think our total bill before insurance was a little over $80,000.
We welcome you!!
I am with you- I definitely don't have the fever to be pregnant again nor have a newborn at any point in the near future or ever. Maybe it's because she was a terrible sleeper for so long, and she was colic for the last 2-3 hours a night for the first 3-4 months. That was a terrible nightmare. I love where we are now, but I love my friends who continue having newborns I can love on! Until they cry, then they make my boobs hurt.
That still boggles my mind. I'm shocked that people are still having kids in the States!
It cost us $0 and we don't have any extra insurance besides OHIP (provincial health care). We didn't even pay for parking; BIL dropped us off when I was in labour and my dad took DH home to get the car when it was time to leave.

We decided that this time around we are going to try team green! I am actually really excited to be pregnant and not know if it is a boy or girl! I loved knowing I was having a boy last time, but it'll be fun to try it both ways!
Damn I am getting too excited just thinking about it!!!!
