Has anyone ever done something like this? I got an online coupon through livingsocial.com for a psychic reading, typically $50, for only $20. I'm so tempted to do it, but A.) it makes me feel a little crazy B.) I don't know if I'd want to tell DH, for fear that he would think I'm crazy.
Am I crazy?!

IT'S A BOY
I've had a few readings done. One place where my friend goes, I've only had a chance to go once but it was an excellent reading, well my friend has gone for years and always gets accurate readings. The women who do them give good information with accuracy, it's so amazing. I have always found comfort in readings and find them me focus my thoughts, desires, and energy. You can also ask not to hear anything bad with most people.
I've had three readings, and they were all card readings.
Two of them were eerily accurate (right down to the diagnosis I later received from the RE), and one of them was about 50/50.
I don't generally put a whole lot of stock into what they say, but I still enjoy getting a reading occasionally (the psychic fair in town is usually happening on or around my birthday, and that's when I go).
I have a friend that reads cards and she has read mine before - usually after several bottles..er glasses... of wine. It's pretty fun! I have thought about doing it now, but honestly - I'm not sure if I want to know the answers to the real questions I would want answered (baby/pg related stuff).
I think it could be fun though. Personally, I would only ask questions about work/family - stuff that has nothing to do with my reproductive plans.

I personally don't believe in psychics, but just for S&Gs, let's say that there are actually some real psychics out there. Most of the people claiming to be psychics would still be quacks. Even assuming psychics existed, chances are you're just gonna fork over 20 or 30 or 50 (!!!) bucks for somebody to do some psychological trickery on you.
I personally think professional psychics prey on the unfortunate, the grieving, etc.. JMHO
