Monthly picture of your baby

Are y'all doing this? If so what ideas can y'all share. I don't have the monthly onsies, but want to do something cute.

    I'm just dressing my DS up in something cute each month. No numbers or anything.

    I just used a picture frame with construction paper and a printed 1 month sign in it and a sock monkey someone gave her.

    I thought this was so cute. You get those big desk pads that have the month from the office store. I am going to write one month, two months, etc., and lay her on it so you can see the month. Also, I got a chalkboard and am going to write about what she likes and put that next to her. I also got wrapping paper to use as a backdrop from the dollar store to put her on. I am also doing onesies. I'm a tad bit obsessed, apparently.

    I'm doing the onesies. When I was a baby tho, my mom propped me up on pillows that were covered by a blanket and just dressed me up cute.

    We're dressing DS in a plain white onesie and the same cloth diaper each month. He sits in a recliner in his room beside the same stuffed animal in each one. =)

    No matter what you do I like the idea of having a certain stuffed animal or item in the pic with your little one. 

    DH and I both had "brown teddy" bears that we loved as kids.  So we made a bear for DS at build-a-bear and put that in the pic with him each month.  I loved seeing him go from being smaller than Brown Teddy to ending up bigger than BT at the end of the year  :)

    My DH buys a little cupcake or cake with the number  on it and take a pic with him.

    I ordered monthly onesie stickers from etsy. I wrote babies stats on a small chalk board next to her.

    We have a massive, 15lb, long haired cat that we lay him next to each month (or more). I think it should take a few more months for DS to even catch up to the cat (11-7 at the 2 month check up). Mr Fluff comparison shots are already a huge hit with friends and family on FB.

    I found online where I can print a circle with a zoo animal says 1 month (one for each month). I printed it on sticker paper. So each month I put him in a white long sleeved onesie, stick the sticker on his onesie. I have him sitting next to an elephant to show that DS is getting bigger.

     I know my pics are too small to read the words but I just list fun things he's done that month.

    That is a 6-9 mo diaper cover so Im hoping it fits for quite a while. The only problem is that Ive been taking these out side and it's too cold now! So... we will play with that.

    I'm actually doing a 365 project with him, so I take a photo a day. But for the month photos I put him in a plain white onesie and use a chalkboard for the numbers. I plan to use the daily/monthly photos to make a book after his first year.     I downloaded Picasa and go to their creative kit in the editing stuff. I used to use Piknic (sp?) all the time and loved it- now its all in that creative kit thing in Picasa
