I had this toy when I was around 12 (mid-90s). We got it from a kiosk at the mall around the holidays. It clipped to a table & had two yellow pendulums that you filled with sand or pennies that swung back & forth. There was a hard surface on the table where you'd put a piece of paper & clipped a marker in & it would draw circles, spirals, etc... depending on which way you swung the pendulums. It was all plastic.
I can't think of the name of this toy & it's really bothering me.
I tried looking it up online last night but all I could find was harmonographs from the 20s & 30s.
Can anyone help me?
Re: Name this obscure toy from the 90s.
Nope. That was a toy with a plastic disk with holes that went around in a circle. It's the only toy name that keeps popping in my head though.
This had swinging pendulums hanging off the corner of the table.
Thank you! The one from 1987 is exactly it.
Ugh...what the heck was it called though?
