I was originally planning on the back of DD's door but then was talking to others and they said the back of the bathroom door especially when she starts solids and they will need to be sprayed. I got an XL hanging bag for the bathroom and plan on getting one more but I want it to match whatever room it's going in (I understand that is a silly reason but it will be in the guest bathroom for all to see and I'd like it to blend in and if it's in her room than I would rather have something more fun).
She'll be here in a week so I need to just make a decision to make due with one or bite the bullet and get another one and hope I make the right decision. (I wish they weren't $30 a pop!

We have a pail in DDs room, and a wetbag in the bathroom for poopy diapers.
She is just starting solids now, and I have just put it in there. I only had the pail in her room until recently.

Have you tried shopping on etsy or ebay for extra diaper pail liners and wetbags? They are the same quality as the name brands except less expensive. Also, we decided to invest in flushable liners so the diapers don't have to be stored in the bathroom....a $5 investment that will get plenty of use and prolong the wear on her CDs
