I have kinda let the hair situation "down there" go for the last little bit, but I have my first pre natal appointment in two weeks and cant stop thinking about if I should go get waxed the day before, and if it is something I should continue to keep up through out the pregnancy...random and weird thought I know but is anyone else contemplating this??

I kept up with my waxing routine through my entire pregnancy with DD and most likely will with this pregnancy. It's just such a habit, that I haven't really thought about it. I think my last wax with DD was at like 37.5/38 weeks or so. PP is right, waxing hurts far more when pregnant because of the increased blood flow (at least I think it does), so if you're not used to it, I wouldn't suggest starting during now lol.
FWIW, the doctors and nurses aren't going to care either way, it's really what you're comfortable with.
I couldn't care less about this for teh sake of my appointments, but for my HUSBAND I am a little overdue for a wax -- I usually go full brazilian, and I'm about 2 weeks overdue, and kinda dreading it. ESp since I can't drug up with ibuprofen before.
I've never been one to wax or completely shave down there because of the discomfort it causes. I didn't even shave my legs before heading to the ER yesterday. This is my belief ...

Seriously the doctor isn't going to give two flucks if you have a hairy vajayjay or not, or how long it has been since your last shaving or waxing.
Also keep in mind that most doctors are somewhat older and probably come from the generation with hairy bushes and probably can't understand why women would want to remove their pubic hair.
