Ok, so it's a day late, but what did you do this weekend ladies?
Friday I rested. Saturday I did a 9 mile run. I'm hanging on to my 9 minute per mile pace, so I'm very happy about that. My goal is to finish my half marathon next month in less than two hours. Sunday I went for a 30 minute walk and biked for 30 minute.

My half marathon is Oct 21. I don't have a pace goal, just want to finish!!!!!!!
Mine is the following Sunday! Is this your first? My goal for my first was just to finish, but I feel so much more prepared for this one, so I really am shooting for under 2 hours.
This is my first. Ack! How did it go for yours? Must have gone well since you are doing it again! That's encouraging
I had hoped to run 10 miles on Sat, but when figured out the mileage afterwards, it was only 9... so have yet to break into double digits. This weekend, I hope!
It went good! I was proud of myself for finishing and I felt pretty good. I ran it as part of a training program for a full and remember thinking when I was done that there was no way I could do it again and run the full 26.2. But several weeks later, I finished my first full marathon. I'm hoping to do this half, maybe another one later in 2013 and then do Tough Mudder next year in Oct. when it comes to Houston.
Hello there, workout ladies!
Today I did my long run, which I thought was 6.5 miles, and I took a GPS along to measure the distance. It was actually 8.5! That made me so happy because it means I am not as dreadfully slow as I thought I was. It took me 1 hour and 6 minutes! Not too shabby!
Lab, I did a Tough Mudder. It was fun! DH swears it was easy...men.
Congrats on the full marathon! Wow - impressive! How long ago did you run it? That is a daydream fantasy I have every April (I'm in Boston and cheer at that marathon annually)...
We have a whole family/friends crew running this half marathon in Oct, including 5 newbies and 3 experiences marathoners. Both my sister and I had babies in the past year and this is part of a shared personal goal.
