Failed 1 hour test....

So not happy, I have to take the 3 hour test now and it has to be this Saturday.  So I have to spend 3 hours of my day sitting in the lab so they can poke me with a needle 4 times.  I'm pissed.....

    That sucks!  :(  I feel your pain though.  I failed the one hour so was scheduled for a two hour one which they did last Saturday.  However, they didn't do it properly so I get to go back this Saturday and do it again!

    It is a total suck!  I had mine last Thursday and am still sporting a small bruise from the poking - but chances are good that you'll pass and it is such a relief at that point!  take courage and sending you good thoughts!

    yep, been there, done that yesterday.  sat in the lab for over 3 hours.  this is my third pregnancy and i had gd the first time, passed the one hour the second time, and now i failed the one hour this time.  i'm hoping i pass the 3 hour, but with my history, i'm not sure.

    sitting in the lab for that long sucks and having gd sucks.

    I'm sorry you have to do that! I literally just drank my sugar beverage a half hour ago and am waiting for the draw. I was not prepared for it today and did not fast. I had pumpkin bread, eggs and toast this morning and an apple right before the appointment. She said it's ok, that fasting is not required, but I think I did fast last time with a different midwife. Hoping everything comes back good.

    That really sucks. Sorry. I failed both, so now am the bearer of the baby as well as Gestational Diabetes.

    I really hope you pass, but on the (way) off-chance that you don't, take my advice and do the opposite of what I've been doing: DON'T STRESS ABOUT IT!!! It makes your sugar counts worse and then your readings will be off. But, in the meantime, take something to keep you occupied, and good luck. I'm pretty sure you'll do fine.
