Thanks for all the input last week on the Speech evaluation.
We went in today and she asked us a ton of questions and played with him. She thinks he is delayed about by 6-months, which is what I was expecting but that he should do pretty well with the therapy. We start on Monday with her but I also moved up his hearing test and dr visit to tomorrow so when we start on Monday we will go in knowing how his hearing is as of now, instead of before the tubes.
Y'all are truly an amazing group of ladies, your advise has been truly helpful.
Re: Speech Evaluation Followup
What a nice update, thanks!
Both my kids attended speech therapy, it was a wonderful thing for them and me. I learned so much in those sessions.
Best of luck.

Good luck with the therapy!
Good speech therapy at a young age can make a huge difference. At 18 months old my son tested in the 9-12 month range in regards to language. He was retested a few weeks ago and his language scores were all in the average range for his age--with regards to expressive language/cognition he's actually slightly above average. It's made a huge difference in just a year.
