Hate not knowing when to bring her in to Dr

DD has had a runny nose for maybe a week. I assumed it was teething. No other symptoms at that time. Nose Got more runny the past day or two. This morning she was coughing a lot in her sleep. She has been sleeping a lot today. kept sleeping this morning even when I put her in carseat and dropped her off at 6am. woke up at about 7:15 and rested with her grandpa for about 30 min then fell asleep in stroller around 9:45 am on way to baby story time. They said she was happy and talkative and they took her out to lunch. When I picked her up around 1pm she was sleeping and had been for about 20 min. when she woke up she seemed in a daze and rested on me. when we got home she seemed fine, had a good BM, then got a little fussy. nursed and fell asleep again and has been for almost an hour now. it is nap time but it just seems like she has been sleeping a lot today..I debated and ended up putting a call in to the nurse since I read online to call if unusual sleepiness. have not heard back yet, its been almost 30 min. I think. Her temp this am was 99.0 and now its 100.2. Not coughing much. Eating well. Ate good yesterday and seemed fine slept ok yesterday. Has been outside in fresh air alot today and yesterday..
I hate not know what to do or if I should bring her in or not. strange that I have not heard from nurse yet.

Bummer! We're going through this as well. Except my child will not sleep..like been up for 3 days straight.
I debated about the dr. too then I figured what exactly is he going to do about a baby cold anyways?
She still plays and giggles just likes to cuddle more than usual. She's not eating the best, but it's not the worst. She either doesn't have a fever at all or the Motrin brings it down fine when she does have a small one.
She however, seems fairly alert and drinks a ton, which is the most important to me.
If she's not better by Thursday, then I'll consider the dr. again, but I figure like adult colds it has to run it's course and she'll be fine.
I also don't want to take her and have her get slimed on by 4634643 other kids with worse problems.
I also work in a school and I know those tons of just general crud going around where i live which makes me believe it's nothing too serious.
the nurse returned call and didnt sound concerned. she said she would be more concerned if she wasnt sleeping. DD slept for maybe a little over an hour this afternoon at home and is falling asleep in my arms again now.. I hate seeing her like this..hope she seems better tomorrow for daycare at 6am.
