So there was an interview with Kerry Walsh (the beach volley ball gold medal winner) today on the today show. They promo'd it coming up by saying her partner Misty May Trainer had retired but not Kerry and they were "catching up" with her.
So I assumed the interview would be about who her new volleyball partner was. NO..it's about how she got KU the first month trying for her third LO the month before the Olympics and was PG while diggin in the sand at the olympics.
Does this really deserve an interview? REALLY?!
Of course this is just salt in the wound because for only the second time in 46 cycles I've made it all the way to cd28 (I usually get AF by cd26 because of my LPD). So being two days "late" I decided to test this morning to see if we'd gotten a break "miracle" and that even with our MFI and 4% chance of conceiving on our own, and only sex once during FW, that it actually happened. Nope. BFN. So come on AF, where the hell are you?
Re: Really Today Show, really?
Sorry! That is totally salt in a wound and a crappy way to start off the week!

Sorry your day started off this way. Hopefully your day gets better.
for your LP knowing whats up this month!
for AF choosing her own time for arrival.
I saw that too!! I was in the waiting room at my RE's office for my CD4 b/w and u/s, fuming and then a woman walks in with her toddler - REALLY? So it's going to be that kind of day?
I totally thought it was going to be about her new volleyball partner too, and then was like WTF??
I'm sorry AF is late and effing with you. That sucks...

I think I threw up in my mouth when she said "I guess I'm just really fertile!".
Was waiting for my 1st appt with new RE last week and there was a couple oogling over their U/S pictures and yelled across the waiting room the medical assistant that the tech said she would label twin A and twin B but did not. Really?!?! How quickly people forget what it is like to be on the other side.

Ah yes, great job there media. Let's be less interested in her amazing talents as an athlete, accomplishments and future of her career than in her ability to get pregnant. Go figure something like this would be on TV on a day like you're having!
I'm also in the 4% club (although only recently diagnosed) but still have hope for a miracle cycle. I'm on CD26 and almost tested this AM too because I guess I like to get my hopes up really high just so they can get really good and squashed on CD1. A BFN on CD28 just blows. Hang in there and keep that TV off!
1/13 Decided to pursue DIA, 4/13 Home study Approved 9/13 Matched!

3/14 Surprise BFP 11/14 DD is here!
Did you watch The Price is Right? I had a similar experience with that show today.
I'm sorry about your bfn.
I just saw a blip of it on my local news and I said out loud to myself "How is that news? Who cares!"
I'm so sorry about your late AF. This was the first time ever since we've been TTC where I was actually late at all (regular 28 day cycles w/charting, I was 4 days late this time) and was totally convinced it was our time. Nope, BFN. DH had his SA moved to tomorrow and I was really thinking maybe we wouldn't have to go there. Ugh.
Yeah, I saw that too! MH and I are home sick with a cold and I was like, "WTH?!" It's PG women day on TV.
IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)

Ugh! If all a woman does is spread her legs to get pregnant, she does not deserve a "congratulations" let alone national media coverage, IMHO.
Sorry you and your DH are sick Hope you feel better soon!

I watch it every day. What makes it worse is last year they had a pregnant model. I had a bad breakdown yesterday when I saw that another model was pregnant. As soon as I saw the ultrasound picture on the Ipad, I got up and cried for an hour.
I know your af is late and your still getting bfn's, but miracles do happen so you never know. Even if you have a 4% chance of conceiving, you still have a chance. I hope you had a better day today.
