Memorial Central C/S

Has anyone given birth at Memorial Hospital CENTRAL in Colorado Springs? I have heard good things about the North location and I assume that Central would have similar policies. Specifically I am concerned about monitoring, will they fight me if I want intermittent instead of continuous? Also I don't want an IV if its not necc, and I would like the option of delayed cord clamping.  

I'm going to ask my OB at my appt this week, but sometimes what's allowed isn't what is pushed on you when you're there. I'm hoping for someone who has been in there to tell me how they handled non traditional hospital birth wishes.

    I gave birth there twice. Both times were traditional births so I'm afraid I can't answer your specific questions. I can tell you that everyone I have dealt with there has been awesome and I would think that they would listen to your wishes.

    the differences are the central has the nicu, so if something's wrong with the baby he/she would end up going there, however north is a lot newer and nicer. more space. i had a friend give birth at north and the place looked very nice, however she went with traditional so i don't know about your requests. i assume some of the things they wouldn't want to work with, but ya never know until you ask :)
