We use the Kirkland Free and Clear on all baby clothes, and once she's here, we will wash all of our clothes in it for the first year. We did the same with DD, and it worked great for us.
I haven't used the Kirkland brand one, we usually use All Free and Clear, and plan to continue using it for everyone's clothes. I think most "Free and Clear" detergents are comparable. If you already use that then I would think it would be fine to use for baby's clothes.
Nope wash all my kids clothes in whatever detergent we have in the house. If they had an allergy than I would use scent & dye free, but that has not been the case with any of my kids so far.
I don't use anything specific for the baby clothes, but I do use a free and clear detergent on everything, just because I've had issues with the dye in laundry detergents staining clothes on occasion over the years.

This. We've been using it for years and will continue to do so.

We have, but we wash all of our laundry in free & clear detergent (and use Clorox free & clear color-safe bleach, and Downy free & clear liquid fabric softener). We use whatever is cheapest, usually either Kirkland (if we're running low during a Costco run) or ALL (if we need some in between Costco runs).

I used a fragrance free sensitive wash for my kids at first and then I just got tired of running out of detergent for them and switched back to Tide when they were about 3 months old. They had really sensitive skin and it was never an issue
Re: do you use special detergent for your baby clothes?
Nope, never have for my other kids either. Just use the Arm & Hammer Sensitive or Kirkland free/clear.
...baby #3 is here...
This is what we are using too.

We use the same detergent for everyone in our house: Seventh Generation or Ecos.
We also don't use liquid fabric softener but will use a clear and free dryer sheet prn.
