Hi girls,
I've been lurking for a while and I feel like I need to come out to support our May girls! I'm just going to ignore the drama. Any other lurkers out there?
A GTKY:
Are you dressing LO up for Halloween? As what?
I think it would be fun to dress my DD up but we don't have anywhere to go and my practical side says it would be silly to buy a costume for one day. I am buying candy and passing it out to the neighborhood kids though!
Re: Coming Out of Lurking
Welcome!!!
DS2 is going to be a caterpillar. DS1 wore the same costume when he was a newborn. It's really cute and super warm. no need for a coat. You could always buy a costume that would be 0-6 or 6-12. If you are planning on having more kids they could always wear it.
Hey, I lurk more than I post, but I'm trying to post more.
I bought a "My First Halloween" onsie when it was on sale at Baby Gap last year, so he will wear that. I don't want to spend money on a costume he won't wear very long this year. Next year though...we are doing it up.
Welcome!
My dad and step mom bought DS a puppy costume (we are big dog people). So he will wear that Halloween night when we going to each of our parents houses to visit.
I found a cute skunk outfit that says little stinker on the butt for cheap at a yard sale. She is just going to wear it to hand out candy with us.
I also found a onsie that says "Don't scare me I poop easy" that she will probably be wearing a couple of times closer to Halloween.
hahahahha, too funny!!!
Lo is my youngest of three so we going trick or treating. Lo is being a kangaroo I'm wearing him in the moby and wearing kangaroo ears myself.
Love it!!!!
Hi and welcome!
DH and I were thinking about dressing him up as Mini Me from Austin Powers and DH can wear him in the baby carrier on his chest. Don't know if we will actually do it but it sounds funny
This is an awesome idea. I also just saw a cute costume on Pinterest where baby is dressed up as spaghetti and meatballs (yarn and felt?) - so cute!
Welcome!
We CD too.
I found a cute elephant costume at Costco (Carter's Brand) -- Only $12.99! She is going to be so cute.
I'm not dressing up... Too much effort. haha.
My DD is dressing up as a ladybug. My
mom got the costume for her. She will be at daycare that day so I'm sure they will have some sort of party/pictures of the kids in costume.
I have been lurking lately. Mainly because I have failed in my 30 day challenge so I don't really have much to post other than that!
I don't think I am dressing the guys up. The only reason I would is for a picture... .but we have some haloween jammies (which will probably be too small by then) and a couple of other halloween outfits that will do I think. I would love to have costumes but yes I am too practical and money is very tight at the moment.
that is a really cute idea!
i got LO a dinosaur costume on craigslist, but I'm not sure it will fit by then, so I also picked up an adorable lobster costume at the consignment sale for $4. We are going to zooboo and will pass out candy.
My son is going as a bat and my daughter as a ladybug. It's not really what I had in mind, but I found the costumes at consignment and the price was right!
I did see an idea on Pinterest where a little baby girl was dressed up a Sophia from the Golden Girls. Good Lord it was cute, but so much work! Yep, I think a bat and a ladybug will be just fine.
We don't have any big plans anyway. We're just going to grandma's to watch It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. It's sort of a tradition with me and my mom.
