Baby girls with chunky thighs-Crash I expect to see you in here.

Okay, so now that it's cooler obviously the babies are wearing pants. Dd wears stretch pants and I believe they fit well. She's in size 5 diapers with room to spare. My question is, since she's been wearing these pants she as some kind of irritation in the crease where the diaper tabs are, do you think it's the pants causing the friction? The mark looks like it usually does when the diapers start to get small but I know it's not the diapers. Anyone else see this on their LOs when they started to wear pants(stretchy)? Hope this makes sense, I'm tempted to take a pic just for clarification.

    Hmmm, I thought for sure it couldn't be the diapers. I guess it's time to move up to 6. That just seems so big though.

    Yes! Like I said the diaper has room once it's on but it droops after awhile. Maybe I'm making them too tight. She's slimming down so I know she doesn't need a six. I was thinking about it last night and she does have super sensitive skin so I'm thinking any type of friction is going to cause a reaction. I noticed if I put Aquaphor in that spot it seems to heal up quick. Unless the pants are too snug. Idk.

    What about putting a smear of Vaseline in that spot before closing the diaper?  It aids in friction prevention.
    That's what I did today. We will see if it helps.
