I gave L bananas on Fri and Sat for the first time by themselves (before I mixed a little with oatmeal). All day Sat, Sun and last night she was pushing a lot and had really bad gas. It kept her up most of last night even after colic calm which usually helps. We really haven't had this happen in months. Did Kate have a reaction like this with food? I know you mentioned it upset her stomach. And could fresh bananas do that for 2 days? She ate a decent amount because she loved them (about an inch thick mixed with water). Her poop was thicker but not solid and she pooped twice both days, so I know she wasn't constipated.

    I haven't re-introduced cereal/oatmeal since the last time her tummy was upset, so she hasn't had fruits or veggies yet. I'm being a baby about it, but I don't want to cause her any discomfort. However, my plan is to start this weekend with cereal, and if all goes well, I'll start with green vegetables the weekend after that.

    Poor L. Maybe you should put bananas on hold, and reintroduce them in the future. Is she feeling better today?

    Thanks :) We dropped her off at DC and she seemed fine, she was talking and yelling in the car as usual. I know she was tired though because when 7am hit I went to wake her and she was so out of it. I lifted her arm up and it was just limp. She got up around 7:30 on her own...no pushing then and was happy. I warned them at DC of what had happened so they will keep an eye on her.

    Yea, I don't want to give her anymore fruit! And the amount of oatmeal and avocado she had compared to the banana was a big difference. I get stomach issues from fruit myself (I also have acid reflux) so perhaps she really does have my tummy, unfortunately.

    Keep me updated on Kate...Maybe I will try the green veggies too. I might also wait a couple weeks until she is closer to 6 months. She's still only eating 30oz of formula and is content on it.
