Ladies... drumroll please... I quit my job last week! Ahhhh... it's a long story but I was kind of getting bored/frustrated w/ my job and thought it was time to move on before my leave, and there were soooo many changes that happened after I came back from maternity leave (they gave me a different job that I hated, my boss left, etc etc etc) and my sitter was leaving (I was working from home) and my Mom who babysits too for me half the time is getting a day job (she was working nights before) thankfully, soooo... no more job for me. Well, I gave quite the notice bc of an event we're having that I am helping to coordinate, but after that I am outie. I will still be doing photo/vid stuff on the side as always and other random stuff.

I am relieved (it was stressing me to bits) and also terrified.

It's going to be weird to not be making much money (my side biz isn't bringing in much these days... at least not @ the moment) and having my hubby be the primary bread winner. I think we can coast for a while but eventually I'll have to figure out what to do. I think I want to either work for myself or for a non profit. What's funny is that I am still checking my email (tonight) and getting annoyed at stupid stuff, even though I am done and shouldn't care. That's how oddly dedicated I am to something I don't even care about. Can't wait until I can't check my email! LOL...

Looking forward to being with my little creature more and getting out of the house more!

Congrats! I didn't go back to work this school year and it's awesome! Being home with DD all day is great! I get all my cleaning and errand running done during the week so that we can enjoy the weekends as a family. We play, take walks, visit friends, take naps, and get a few things done each day. I love Monday now because I don't have to go to work. It's great going to the grocery store during the work day because it's virtually empty. Quiting my job was the best thing I did for our family. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
