Bedtime

What does LO wear to bed now?

It's 6869 degrees in our room at night. When DD first got her helmet I dressed her with just footie pjs because her head was so warm. Now that her body has acclimated to the great on her head, her limbs get cold again.

I was doing footie pjs and a Swaddle Me or a long sleeve shirt and a Sleep Sack. What does your LO wear to bed? What will they wear to bed in the winter?

Re: Bedtime

  • S wears long sleeved pjs with bare feet inside his sleepsack. Our house is 2023 degrees celcius. In the winter socks will be added to that.

  • Lately a footie in a fleece sleep sack, though it has been getting down to 68 or lower and his hands/face are a bit chilly in the morning. I'll probably switch to fleece footies and the sack soon.

  • Right now cotton footies and a cotton sleepsack. In the winter we will switch to a fleece sleep sack.

  • Right now he wears cotton footed pjs and a cotton sleep sack. When it gets colder, I will switch to a onesie and a fleece longsleeve sleep sack. When he outgrows those 09mo size, fleece footed pjs and a cotton or fleece sleep sack.

  • We plan on keeping our house at 70ish degrees. Maybe 67-69 if it is too expensive. LO will wear long sleeved footie pajamas and a sleep sack, some of his 12 m pajamas are cotton and some are fleece, so we will get cotton and micro fleece sleep sacks and make sure he has one of each type of fabric.

  • Right now it is cotton footies and a fleece sleep sack. The weather is in that weird stage where sometimes it's humid and the windows are open, then when I wake up in the morning its 62 degrees in the house.

We used to just put her down in pjs but she sleeps better in the sack, she doesn't wake as often. I assume she was too cold before.

During the winter we used to keep our heat at 67 degrees but this winter we will keep it warmer for her. I'm more of a "keep it cooler and wear a sweater or two to save money" kinda gal, whereas hubby is a "crank it up and walk around in a tee shirt" kinda guy Angry

But I have heard with a baby 70 is a good temp so maybe we'll do that. Not looking forward to these heating bills.

We keep our house at 65 in the winter usually (the bedrooms are more like 63 when we do that).  Do you think that is too cold?  I feel like I'd be burning up at 70 in the winter...
