So I was chatting w/ my friend today on gchat and she logged off and sent me a text saying that her 14 month old won't let her chat. I was like - he's not in bed? It's 9pm over here. She said no, he had a late nap, and who knows when he'll be in bed, maybe 10 - his schedule is all f-ed up bc of teething. Yikes. Does teething really mess up schedules this bad? I am scared...
Re: So... does teething really mess up things that badly?
Yes.
Sometimes.
But sometimes, you look in their mouth and there's a new tooth that you didn't expect!
Ibuprofen is our family's BFF during teethtimes.
This. DS1 did not do well with teething, but DS2 was never phased by it. I"m hoping for the latter with Lexi.
First two teeth there were no issues until after they cut through the gum. Now she is having major issues and I think she is going to cut another tooth soon.
Anything that goes near her mouth is pushed to the side and chomped on HARD. It is affecting her sleep at night most. Please let this pass soon. I hate teething
At 6m, we still have no signs of teeth at all yet and I'm stoked about that! Edie didn't get any until around 9m. Then only had 4 until almost 18m.
Now, she's all caught up. Even has all 4 of her 2y molars! It went so fast.
When DS1 was teething, he would not sleep well, and woke often.
He just got in one of his 2yr molars a few months ago. It was worse than any other tooth so far, and I am not looking forward to the other three!
