I arrived home to a bruised and scratched child :(
I'm so pissed. SIL watched DD while I went to the doctor today. She's been begging to come watch her (I normally don't leave her with anyone, but my mom). DH had to run down to the restaurant for a Christmas party and it's just so cold and rainy.
Well, I get home, not only is my house in shambles (it was clean, spotless, everything in it's place at 10:00 this AM.) but my daughter has a red scrape under her nose, and nasty, fresh bruise under her knee, some red marks that look like they'll turn into something. SIL let her rummage through her bow holder and now all bows are scattered throughout. Oh, and when I pulled up SIL was standing in my driveway smoking as my child was inside alone.
Would you like to know what Blaire was doing? She was standing on her little tikes table washing her hands in the kitchen sink, right next to my DH's medication (blood pressure, cholesterol, xanex). It's all in child proof containers, but I still don't want her near it. (It's usually kept in a cabinet, but he must have left it out this AM. DH has already left SIL a message to call him back.
And to top it all off, my MIL had stopped by today. I guess she decided that since I wasn't here it was okay to just come on over.

we pretty much despise each other. I'm not going to keep her from her grandmother, but it pissed me off that SIL called her and told her I wasn't home and to come on over. plus she always brings junk. today, she brought Blaire some boxes and stuff with Easter Bunnies on them. where do you find that in December? And, she made chili and left a note for DH saying she put extra beans in it and extra nuts in the brownies. (I don't eat beans or nuts in brownies). It's like she went the extra mile just to piss me off.
as far as SIL, I'm not sure what he's said. I'll be sure to fiind out when we he gets home in a little bit. It just burns me up that she wanted to come over, keep her, and when I let her, she doesn't even watch her.
