My son was sleeping through the night for about two weeks straight but for the last 4 weeks or so he has not. I have been doing the same bedtime routine for almost three months. He wakes up crying, I eventually go in to his nursery, pick him up and he falls back to sleep in a minute or two. He sleeps for a little while (anywhere from 20 minutes to three hours) and then is up again. I have tried teething tablets, cereal, teething gel, swaddle/no swaddle, putting him to bed later/earlier, Tylenol, pacifier/no pacifier, more bottle/less bottle! Any suggestions?

My 5 month old is doing the same thing! But he has been sttn wonderfully since he was only 4 weeks old! He'd sleep about 8 hours as a newborn but as he got older it is 10-12 hours a night, but for the past couple of weeks has been waking up every night in the MIDDLE of the night!
It's exhausting lol and worse, DH says I should just let him fall back to sleep on his own. So after half an hour of whining, I was not having it. Popped a bottle in his mouth and he was back out in not even 10 minutes. Sometimes I have to change him though, because he's been pooping while he sleeps ha ha. It's the strangest thing, but I agree that it's hard to figure out why.
I think it might be teething or a growth spurt. But all I know is I hope it ends SOON!!!
