Update: Meeting up with LO's birthfather tomorrow...

We haven't seen him since she was 4 weeks old. I'm anxious about the visit because we have absolutely nothing in common, so our conversation is very awkward. Luckily, LO is much more entertaining than she was before since she is interactive and funny. Happy thoughts would be appreciated!!! :)

    Our visit went really well! It wasn't awkward like it has been in the past, so that made it much easier. We met at a little farmer's market/carnival-type place, had lunch, and took LO on the train and carousel rides. Her BF and his mom were so excited to see her and brought a bunch of little gifts. It's really sweet to see them with her. His mom told us that whenever she gets sad about the adoption, she thinks about us and is so happy that we are her parents. We're planning to get together around Christmas for our next visit and I'm sure it will go as well as this one did! :)

    Yeah!  Glad it went well and how wonderful the BF's mom was there as well.  Sounds like it was a terrific day and how wonderful your LO get's spoiled and loved by so many.
