Any other Dec. babies prefer veggies to fruit?

Aside from Avocado our little one doesn't have much time for fruit at all.

    He loves fresh fruit but the only jarred stuff he'll eat is pear pineapple. He much prefers veggies.

    We are the exact opposite - he'll gobble up any fruit you put in front of him but he'll barely touch veggies.  Like mother, like son, I guess - which made me a little sad.  I was hoping he would like them.

    Maybe you mamas of veggie-loving babes could offer some advice?  What kinds of veggies do you offer and how do you prepare them?
