I can't believe how fast time flies. Since we are all June moms, its been about a year since we all conceived our LOs. The June 2013 moms will just be finding out that they are expecting... Do you remember what you and your DH's reaction was when you found out you were expecting?
I will never forget how (happy) shocked I was to see the 2 lines...One of the happiest days of my life. DH was in bed, and did not react until he was fully awake. I went through the day with a huge smile on my face.
Re: a year ago LO was conceived...
Married Bio * BFP Charts
LO was conceived two weeks from today, a year ago. It was the second month we TTC and I wasn't really expecting to be pregnant when I took the test.
I started shaking and crying and it took my husband a minute to figure out what I meant when I said "it's positive". LOL
We had the bar tender make fake drinks for me ans the waiter gave me sparkling juice for the champagne toast.
Goodbye little angel(7/22/2011)....see you in heaven
Goodbye my second angel (9/18/2011)
Dh and I were just talking about this yesterday:) I took a test when he was away at a steelers game for the weekend. I was actually on the phone with him waiting for the digital result. When I saw it say "pregnant" I screamed into his ear, I was so happy! It was October 8th when I took the test...so exciting! Can't believe how much has changed in a year!
We were TTC seriously for about 1 month, I was feeling very tired and headachy and mentioned to DH that either I had really bad PMS or I was pregnant, at the time I was just being sarcastic because I felt so crumby and didn't really think I could really be pregnant with such little effort. So on september 30th I took a cheap internet pregnancy test and was convinced there was a second line.... so I took another....and showed DH, he was not as sure as I was. I decided to wait till morning and take another, this time it was obvious to me but still not convincing DH which made me doubt myself. I then proceeded to take 2 more tests that i had at home and then sent DH to get a digital test so I wouldnt have to go crazy seeing nearly invisible lines haha. After the screen said "pregnant" no one needed any more proof. We celebrated by having a cozy pancake breakfast (this was obviously before the morning sickness kicked in) at home. I then rushed off to the hospital to work being very paranoid about EVERYTHING I came in contact with and trying to not make it obvious. Somehow I managed to keep it from my coworkers for almost 3 months, I was lucky to never have gotten asigned to a patient with chicken pox or shingles. I can't believe it has been a year!
Now that DS is here, we couldn't be happier!!! He has made all the pain, heartache, money, shots and many many procedures worth it!!!

I was talking about this with my H too. I remember my reaction very well, lol.
My H and I were kinda just seeing what happened with ttc (not preventing). I had texted my H earlier in the day that I felt funny. When I got home from work, H was in the shower and I decided to POAS. It was positive and I just said "holy sh!t!" Lol. That is seriously the first thing I said. H pulled back the shower curtain and I showed him. He was very excited. I was nervous at first but it soon turned to excitement.
I can't believe its been a year already! I stopped taking BC last August and we weren't actually ttc but weren't preventing either. DH and I were in the process of moving to northern WI, my last day of work was 9/30/11 and we loaded up our cars and left the Winona, MN area. We were staying with my folks in the twin cities while we looked for a house and my DH comuted to work in WI. While he was at work on 10/3 I took a test and it was positive, I was shocked/happy/scared all at once. When DH got home I told him the news, we were both crying, he was really excited which made me a lot more excited too!
We have all gone through so much this past year!!
I found out on October 12. I had bought the test the night before and resolved to wake up super-early to take it as soon as possible. Of course, I got NO SLEEP that night because I was so anxious.
Soon-to-be-DH was snoring away when I took the test and it took me a few good shakes to wake him up! We were so excited!!
Fast forward to about 1 month later when the nausea (lost 12 pounds in 16 weeks) kicked in, and I was thinking, "what have I done to myself?!" lol
But, our BeeBee is so very worth all of it. I wouldn't have it any other way.
