Fact: My sister's friend Jim is the 5 hour energy cowboy, and her first boyfriend Nick was in Titanic as the guy on the modern day boat that says "You really want to take this call."
Man... I was itching to play 2 truths and a lie this weekend, but we could just keep it honest with some random facts. I have nothing famous about me or my family though .

no need for fame, just random! Mine was inspired when I saw the 5 hour energy commercial.
Two fingers on my left hand had to be reattached after an unfortunate encounter with a car door at 5 years old. That car later became my first car at 17 years old.
When I worked for the Steelers, Dan Rooney would sign my paychecks.
When I was a little girl, I wrote a letter to Lisa Frank telling her that my friends and I all loved elephants (a lie. only I loved elephants) and that "she" should start a new series of musical elephants. "Lisa Frank" wrote back thanking me for the suggestion, gave me some free crap, and a few months later https://www.etsy.com/listing/94116528/vintage-lisa-frank-postalettes-elephant series came out.
I had a couple friends from college who's siblings are kinda famous. One's brother is a NFL quarterback and the other's sister was on Biggest Loser. That's as close to famous as I have.
A couple of my cousins were extras in the movie Super 8 and it was filmed where my mom grew up in Weirton, WV. It was kinda cool seeing the cemetery where a bunch of my relatives are get "destroyed" in the movie.

My aunt lives in Weirton! I almost mixed Weirton up with Chester, WV which is where my college roommate is from - as well as the world's largest teapot.
I however am from New Castle, PA, the fireworks capital of the world, and supposedly also the hot dog capital of the world. In fact, my dentist was a Zambelli (very large firework company known worldwide). I'm such a dork.
I met Brett Favre and got a signed pix together. He lifted his shirt and showed off his abs to me.
Now that I have you all like whoa that is awesome, in reality, I was in the hospital around Xmas and he was going around visiting. He showed me his stomach b/c he had a scar there from being in a car accident as a kid too. Jkfranklin could probably appreciate that but haven't seen many posts from her, did she move over?
A guy I used to know auditioned for a part in LOST when he lived in Hawaii. He told me about it and said it was a character that had to do with the tail end of the plane. Like two weeks later was the introduction of the Tailies on LOST.
I've been hit by a car twice in my life. I used to think this was an average amount but I guess most people don't get hit by cars.
the first time the car was moving very slowly in a traffic situation, I stood up and walked home. The second time the car was moving very fast and I actually thought oh it's far away I will make it. Nope. I had to get an ambulance. I was surprisingly fine though, I broke my tailbone but that is all. Broken tailbone hurts a lot though, more than labor maybe.

As I've previously posted, Chelsea from this past season of Survivor is my next door neighbo'rs daughter. She is currently seeing Roberto from Ali's season of The Bachelorette. They are coming in town in a couple weeks for a celebrity golf tournament and bringing Kim, the winner of Survivor. It's going to be a reality tv festival next door, lol.

My claim to fame is that my Grandpa used to make violins for Alison Krauss. He owned and operated a solo handmade violin shop. My mom said she remembers watching her in the shop when she was little.
Also one of my best friends from High School was on Cupcake Wars a few weeks ago. The episode they did based on a perfume if I remember right.
That's as cool as mine gets. lol

My husband has been hit by lots of cars. In fact, he hasn't been hit by any recently. I should tell him to be careful crossing streets.
One time, his phone broke when the car hit him and so he couldn't call me. He emailed me. "Got hit by a car. I am fine".
I ended up in an aired segment of an episode of Inside the Actor's studio with Don Cheadle. It was a lot of fun to see those filmed. I went to the school the show was originally in.
In addition, my cousin played Mary Hartman on the show Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. She was married to Woody Allen, on Taxi a few times and in Requiem for a Dream.
This is a weird one, especially since PT Anderson's new film 'The Master' is coming out that is (supposedly loosely) based on L Ron Hubbard - but a good friend of mine is L Ron Hubbard's great grandson.
Oh here's another one that is baby related! The midwife that was there at the end (they changed shifts halfway through my labor) with me ended up being my husband's schoolmate from high school! They were in band together, how random is that?
My uncle went to the prom with Mariah Carey. My grandfather asked her what college she was going to and she told him she was skipping college and starting a music career. My grandpa rolled his eyes and said "good luck!" Haha

That would have seriously weirded me out! My uncle is the crime reporter who was involved in the resurgance and later arrest of the BTK serial killer in Kansas. And one of my friends from high school was just in a commercial with Betty White.

Ya know, I never thought about that. It was years ago. I'll have to look for it.

Fact: My Mom's BFF was on Designing Women. And lots of other things, but that's what she's best known for.
Fact: I have a dimple that looks like an ordinary dimple, but is actually the result of a chicken attack.
