Embarassing question...

Is anyone else's vagina feeling very "full"? H and I had sex last night and it was very uncomfortable, ultrasensitive for me, and my vagina felt very tight. Now tonight, my pelvic area just feels "congested". I don't know how else to describe it. If it keeps going this way, intercourse may become very uncomfortable for me. Last night I just wanted it to be over.
Started TTC 2/2009
Started fertility treatments 11/2010
Ovarian dysfunction, LPD, male factor
6 failed medicated IUI's
Pregnant 5/2011 - Miscarriage at 6 weeks due to triploidy
Decided to adopt - 6/2012
SURPRISE! Pregnant without intervention - 7/2012 
Sweet Baby James Born 3/2013
Decided to be "One and Done"

....OR NOT.
Pregnant 12/2018 despite birth control pills
Here we go again...
Due 8/26/19!

    YES! My poor husband has only had sex with me twice since conception. I have had four m/c so I just couldn't relax about sex until I was three months. The first time was ok (I just couldn't relax) but the second time we had sex was atrocious! It was all my fault too! I could not get comfortable. I just couldn't get that "lock" feeling (for lack of a better description). It never felt like he was fully "in", and my belly was the culprit. So I tried on my side, but that was terrible, on my knees was not doing anything for me, so back on my back again but then I had to pee. After I went pee, I felt too dry, so we tried lube, which felt like an open flame in my vagina so we just gave up.  I felt so bad. He was so patient and rolling with it and I just couldn't get comfy.  Frankly, I don't think he is going to get sex again until I am begging him to bang me like a ketchup bottle to get this kid out.

    I have actually been feeling that way with sex since about 13 weeks or so. It hasn't been super uncomfortable, but everything definitely feels full or tighter when we have sex.

    You are not alone!  I have the same complaints about sex right now.  1st tri sex (once I got over a bit of fear/anxiety about it) was sooo much better for me.  I feel very swollen/full/throbby after sex (& even some the next day), regardless of how much foreplay or lube we use or how many different positions we try.  I just get frustrated which makes it worse.  I try to suck it up at least once a week for DH's sake and I keep hoping it'll get better for me.  I'm so jealous of all the women who have amazing sex while pg!

    There's increased blood flow down there now, so the vaginal walls swell. That was actually my first "complaint" to my OB. I thought I had an infection or something lol.

    Thanks ladies! I'm telling you, this sex during pregnancy thing is for the birds! Also, like PP, I also have crazy dryness despite foreplay. Which is odd, because all day I have crazy amounts of discharge. Ugh.

    It's full of blood!  I notice that when I get up from sitting for a while, it's sore down there.  I distinctly remember this feeling from last time.  I asked the doctor and he said it's the blood flowing there, added pressure!

    Once after sex it felt like my vagina was bulging out of my pelvic floor. I was SO swollen. It hasn't been that bad other than that time but it's definitely not as comfortable. SO also finishes a lot faster because it's so much more constricted down there. He asked me what I did to it make it like that and said he hopes it stays that way. Not me!

    In the 1st Tri sex was great. We were still going like normal. Hit the 2nd Tri and put on the brakes. Not only am I rarely even interested, it's getting a bit uncomfortable. I agree with who said how weird it is to have so much discharge during the day and then be dry during  and after foreplay! Poor DH. I make sure to give him a little handsies during the week so he feels loved. Our anniversary is coming up so I'm hoping I'll be more in the mood for him...

    Yeah, I have to agree. Sex just isn't as comfortable. We use to have a wonderful sex life, but it's slowly diminished over the past few months. When we first found out I was pregnant, we went down to 1-2 a week, but by 12/13 weeks or so it was once a week. Now we haven't had sex in almost 2 weeks. I honestly don't have the desire. I feel huge and so not sexy, even though DH insists that I am. I just can't get on board with it. I feel bad and I wish I was one of those women who loved it and craved it during pregnancy, but I'm apparently not. I'm not going to lie, I'm sure DH is pleasuring himself a lot more often these days!
