I keep waiting for DS to get seperation anxiety, stranger danger, etc., but he just shows no signs! He's 11 months old.
We've had the same nanny since he was 4 1/2 months old, and she comes over about a half hour before I leave in the AM (I work 3 days a week). He doesn't get upset when I go. When I come home he sometimes greets me with a huge smile, but sometimes he's not in a great mood and doesn't really react much at all.
He's not afraid of strangers at all, smiles at everyone and will climb on other mothers in play groups, etc. People always comment on how friendly he is.
This may sound great, but I'm concerned that he's not attached to me, and that I could be substituted for any stranger. I just want to know that this is normal since I keep hearing that seperation anxiety/stranger danger is what's normal.
I keep beating myself up, wondering if it's b/c I didn't BF, or let him CIO, etc. Anyone have any experience?

Re: DS Has NO Seperation Anxiety??
We're talking about babies here; sometimes it seems like there is no "normal."
He probably will develop some separation anxiety at some point, but who knows when? It doesn't *have* to happen at any certain time. For some kids it doesn't happen till preschool.
In the meantime, be thankful that you have a well-adjusted, happy baby.
DS: 11/8/11 | 9 lb 7 oz, 22 in
DD: 5/22/14 | 9 lb 9 oz, 21.5 in
My daughter didn't have issues with separation anxiety. She is independent and curious. She will travel a good ways away from me while playing and that has only increased with age. She's very securely attached to me.
DS is already showing some signs of separation anxiety although he will usually let someone else watch him.
