    Ferdinand is the first name that popped in my head with Penelope (well, besides Odysseus).  I'm not really sure why.

    If you don't want to go with Ferdinand, how about William or Oscar?

    Srsly, DH got a little tipsy one night when I was pregnant with P.  He has a little "moment" where he expressed his displeasure & emphatically proclaimed that the baby "WILL NOT BE CALLED LA-A!!!"

    I had to laugh & reassure him that it was just a nickname!  LOL!  He was fine, but I guess he needed to get that off his chest?  We both laughed after that.  Silly guy!

    Sooo, the first thing that popped into my head was Sterling. I think it's because when I was a kid we had monopoly on our game boy and one of the characters was Penelope and maybe another was Sterling? I'm not sure.

    But I also agree with OSC that Charles sounds very nice with Penelope!
    I used to be a big deal.  Now I'm just old.

    Went on Nymbler and put Penelope into the search engine and these are a few of the boys names it spit out.

    Abraham/Abram/Abe

    Don't know if any of those are your style but I like all of them with the mn George and think they sound nice with Penelope.

    P.S. Penelope is still my fave name for a girl. I'm super jealous that you got to use it. If I had been able to name G without any input from DH that would have been her name.

    Well, Penelope was on my list if we were having a girl!  So I think it does go well with Alexander.  Both are more classic names, have multiple syllables, and are from the Ancient Greek, haha
