What would you name LO?

For the record, I love LO's name, but the board is slow so I figured I'd try to liven it up with something regulars and lurkers could take part in.

I'd name him Landon James. Landon was on our list, but I was worried it was getting too popular, so we went with Anderson instead.

We didn't have another girls name picked out. When we first stated to think up names I mentioned Brooke Kathleen, DH loved it and we never talked about another name. So I don't know what I would pick if I HAD to pick. We never agreed upon a boys name, good thing DD was a girl so we never had to come up with one.

Second on our list was Amelia Elizabeth

If I didn't have to include DH - Eloise Iris Faye

If I didn't worry about the world not being able to say her name - Eulalia Beatrice

She ended up with the perfect name though, and I now I can't see her as anything but Eleanor Sarah

I do love DS's name but our second choice was Owen Scott. If this LO is a boy (girl girl girl!) then that will probably be his name. We also really love the name Evan, but our nephew's name is Ethan and DH's mom already gets name so confused.

We love what we picked; Alayna Kate. But our other pick was lilianna (lily) but if we have another DD, I'm liking Cara!

We almost gave A the middle name Wesley after my grandpa, but in the end we gave him DH's name as a middle name. It just flowed better. Wesley is still in the running for future use!

As for first names...

I've always loved the name Isaac, but DH doesn't like it too much.

We considered the name William (my dad's name), again, DH didn't love it and I didn't like how popular it was getting. I know my brother and SIL REALLY want to use that name, so we left it for them

I loved Lilly Grace or Grace Andreas (mom's maiden name) but we really liked Jacqueline Grace (grace is my grandmother's name). We felt Lilly was too popular, and sounds silly with our last name.

If it was a boy we liked the name Nathaniel, but again too popular. We also liked Timothy- but couldn't do Tim Lim.

I really like the name Seth, DH thought it was just okay.

DH gets to pick boys names and I get to pick girls. Of course we still have veto power if we hate a name. DH won't share his picks until we are carrying a boy.

If their names were only up to me DS would have been Landon and DD would have been Chloe. If it were up to DH, DS would have been Nolan and DD would have been Ella. Instead we have a Colin and a Lily.

Funny story. 5 days after DD was born, DH looked at me and said I think she's an Ella. We actually had a long conversation about changing her name. I'm so glad we didn't. Lily definitely suits her!

It was never really a question what DS name would be since DH is the III. So I never really considered any other boy names. We contemplated calling him Will or William which is his middle name but we ended up calling him by his first name, Fredrick, which fits him very well. For a girl I love the name Lillian. I really wish it wasn't so popular.

Charlotte was going to be Sophie for a long time. But the more I tried to get used to it, the less I liked it. She is absolutely 100% a Charlotte.

If the next one is a girl, which I hope so, her name will be Delilah. Middle name may be Jane, may not.

I do love DS's name (Remington- nickname Remy) but if it was up to me alone I was leaning towards Delaney (nickname Del) or Ainsley (nickname Lee). DH nixed both immediately. Though DH wanted to name DS Nico and I said no. I do like that I could use either of my names for a potential girl in the future as well

We were big into having a formal name and a nickname for friends/ family to use. DH and I both have formal names and nicknames, so we will prob continue with that.

I love Emily but if we have another girl we will name her Chloe.

My DH and I both love the name Chloe but we knew so many girls with that name when I was pregnant that we decided not to use it.

DS' name is Damien Isaac. DH and I had a hard time agreeing on a name (I had a huge list, he vetoed 95% of it) so we ended up giving LO a first name contender as a middle name. For awhile I kind of wished we saved Isaac for another LO but I'm okay with it now.

I also really like the name Ian, but since Damien has the name Ian in it, it would be way too confusing to have both in the family!

Boy names were hard! We named him Eli since it was the only name we both thought was ok. Neither of us loved it but it really suits him and I think Eli Douglas goes well together.

The only other boy names we both didn't throw out were Miles and Ari. We both like Ari but if we have another boy someday, DH is not sure he likes Eli and Ari together. I think they're fine. Maybe we'll only have girls.

I love the name Ethan, but I sometimes wonder if it would have changed had I known how popular it was getting before I fell in love with the name!

If I could do it again, I would have liked to explore Elliott and Colin. H vetoed those right away. We couldn't decide on the right spelling for Elliott, and Colin is an extended family name.

I thought for sure a daughter would be Charlotte, but now I'm not so sure. I'm really liking Vivian right now, but I have to get KU with a girl first!

I have mentioned this before, but I wish we would have went with Emma Judith instead of her current middle name. If I had to do over and i could not pick Emma, it would be Isla Judith.

If DD was a boy her name most likely would have been Cole Francis.

I'd give her only 1 middle name. Her first middle name is a buffer name to help the flow to the middle name I really wanted her to have. The problem is that it is also my dad's wife's name.

I am wayyy late to this thread, but... The other contender for a girl name was Gwen. The boy names we picked were Orin and Guy. We'll probably still use one of those for the next LO.
