You can read more on my blog (in sig), but we learned that we were matched on August 22nd, met BM on the 29th, and our precious baby girl was born Tuesday. She came home with us yesterday, and her beautiful & amazing BM signed TPR today. We are so blessed! It has been a whirlwind full of beauty, emotion, some fear, and tons of love.
For those of you waiting and praying to become parents, I can honestly say that the past 5 1/2 years are still with me but have eased now. When other women would tell me that, I thought it was so cliche. However, it is so true. Your time will come, you'll learn that God had His hands in it the whole time, and the plan for your journey this far will make more sense. Love to you all. Don't give up that hope!

After searching and searching, back with Uganda but with our homestudy agency's program.
Homestudy complete July 19
USCIS I-600A submitted July 20. Biometrics appointments arrived Aug 17; fingerprinted Aug 21; 171H received Sept 25th. On the wait list Oct 1st: #18. By Jan 25th, we're #13!
