CP: Which parrot costume? PIPs

I think we have Halloween figured out. We have a big party to go to, so the 3 of us will be "theme-y". DH and I are going as pirates, and J will be DH's parrot

Now to the CP - feathers or no feathers? I'm worried the feathers might make it more "girly"

Option one - feathers:

Are you making it yourself? Option 2 just looks easier. Also, do you think J would be bothered by the feathers?

I am making it myself. The feathers are a boa sewn on, so it shouldn't be much trouble. He will either love them or hate them lol.

I do think the felt looks easier as well.

I think that the second one would look better on an older toddler or little kid. The feathers are really cute.

I picked the felt. I'm not sure how J is, but if I put M in feathers, she would eat them. Lol
