How do you Get LO to eat more?

Subject: how do you get LO to eat more?

When Howie does a full 2:00 am feeding he will sleep until 7:00. If he is too sleepy to care, he just won't eat enough and is up at 5:00. How do you get your sleepy one to do a full feeding?

I tried pulling him in bed with me this morning since that has worked. A few minutes in, I opened my eyes to see what he was doing and he just broke into this huge grin. I've never seen anything so cute and annoying at the same time!

Then and now. How did my boy get so big?

    I pull back a bit on the bottle (or breast when I BF) to see if LO will start to suckle again.  If the nipple pulls out without a suckle then s/he's full and I let it be.
    If I try to feed LO more then there's a good chance he'll spit it up.

    Diaper change in between boobs or laying him down on the couch or wherever I'm at.  He wakes up right away (if he's not in a deep sleep) when he is laid down.  I wait till he fusses a bit and then he'll go right on the other boob.  At least you get 5 hrs when he eats more.  I get 3, but only 1 hr if he doesn't eat enough.
