June 2012 Moms

What are your favorite wipes new mamas?

Haven't been on here in forever.  Just curious what you're all using.  I used Huggies with both my older babies & am using them now.  They just don't smell like they used to (all the fragrance free/natural people, I guess).  Post below about one & done's made me think of asking this.  That's what I've been using (cucumber scented...not a huge fan but best scent I've found yet).  They are a little bit thicker, just a bit though...

Re: What are your favorite wipes new mamas?

  • We use Huggies as well (whatever type BJ's has).  I like them well enough.  I tried pampers wipes and hated them.  They seemed more like thin tissues.

  • 7th Generation - DD seems to react whenever we use wipes and diapers from a different company. We mostly CD, but still use regular wipes and occasionally disposable diapers.

  • I use Huggies Natural Care. Nothing seems to compare to the durability of the wipes. love them.

  • I use Huggies Natural Care with both DS and DD. I do not like Pampers at all. I buy them at BJ's and they are like $17 for a huge case that last me a couple of months if not longer.

  • I use Huggies.  I got them at Costco, and they are fragrance free.  I have to use fragrance free everything, because DS have very sensative skin.

this, plus target occasionally runs a deal if you buy two boxes you get a gift card, cheapest deal. I cloth diaper and have considered doing fabric wipes but haven't made the jump yet.  I am a believer in cloth after doing it for a month, no rashes, cheaper and cute prints.

I agree with this! My daughter was born June 4th and we are only on our 2nd box of wipes. They work great for us :-)

Yet another vote for Pampers Sensitive.  They are super moist, which makes cleanups easy, and I love that they aren't scented.

Yup. Don't like the huggies, they don't work well for us. Pampers are way nicer IMO. I would try Target ones, but the nearest Target is 45mins away:(
