Yeppers.
This. Bacon is really high in nitrates (along with a lot of delhi meats, hot dogs ect.) So you just don't want to be eating a lot of them, it's better for you to limit yourself anyway.

Our local grocer cuts and packages their own bacon, less processed that way. And yes, as long as it's cooked - who eats raw bacon??
I'm relieved. When I told my hubby I couldn't eat bacon - his suggestion was "sausage". Silly.

Sounds delicious! Bacon is fine, it's all about the quality of it.
