DD1's birthday is coming up in less than two weeks. We'll be having her party at a nearby orchard, and I've got it in my head to give little "Make your own cadied apple" kits as party favours. Did a little online digging and found this https://ohhappyday.com/2011/10/diy-caramel-apple-kit/ which seems perfect.
Except we don't have Justin's here. And I don't think I've ever seen any type of nut butter (that sounded dirrrrty, didn't it?) in small individual pouches like that before.
My question to you ladies: do you know of brands other than Justin's that would have nut butter in single serving pouches like that?
I guess I could always do a Nutella packet

It's jut not as cute, though.
Edit: I don't know what I'm doing it wrong. Chrome just won't let me post my picture properly. Oh well.
Re: Can you ladies help me out?
Thanks Crash, but Amazon Canada suck
They do actually carry those very same pouches I'm looking for, but they're selling them for $60 for 15 units. Plus $10 shipping. And it says "ships in 6 to 10 days". Ummm no. Not when I know Justin's sells them for $1 each. (I'd order from Justin's directly but shipping would be either too expensive - $70! - or too slow)
I do, but I'm worried it's going to cost an arm and a leg to then have it shipped to me on time for the party. But man, those prices are SO much better than the ones I saw on Amazon Canada, it just might be worth it...
I got them!
USPS was super expensive (shipping with them was $40 without any guarantee I would get my package on time) but then I checked UPS and shipping is only $17, with a guaranteed Wednesday delivery if shipped on Monday - and I have a friend in NYC who will do it for me.
On top of that, I got free 2-day shipping from Amazon so I don't have to pay any extra for my friend to receive my package this weekend.
I say, paying a total of $42 for 30 of those pouches instead of $70 for 15 is sounding like a pretty darn good deal. lol
And Crash - That was my last resort option. I was hesitant to do it because I am not sure if Almond butter has to be refrigerated once it's opened, but now I don't have to worry about that. Yay!
On a side note: good thing it's a slow day in the office. I'd hate for work to get in the way of my party planning. lol
