Decorating Nursery for Holidays?

I went into Target today and I'm a complete sucker. I didn't buy anything yet, but I want to decorate DS's nursery for Halloween. Is that completely asinine? I just want to hang ghosts and bats, ect. on the walls and having a cobweb over the door, and glow in the dark pumpkins. I can get a bit excessive- somebody save me from spending $200+ on Halloween decorations for a baby's room!

DON'T DO IT! Use the money for something more functional / not so insane... would you decorate YOUR room for Halloween? I've never heard of seasonal bedrooms....

I actually would decorate my room for Halloween, I do every year! It's kind of my thing. I can be a little corny

But, I could use the money for something more functional, I agree.

I would not decorate the room for Halloween, but I do plan on having a little Christmas tree in DD room every winter! I will probably get a white one, 2ft-3ft and change the ornaments as her room changes over the years....add the ones she will undoubtedly be making in school every year. I can't wait!

We have decorated DD's room with Christmas stuff the last 2 years. This year she'll have her own mini tree (if she won't mess with it - so we'll see). Go for it if it makes you happy.

I thought of this yesterday at Target--I saw Christmas sheets! trees/snowflakes, etc. I never realized people decorated bedrooms for the holidays, but if you love it, then go for it!
