DD's new favorite things (xp May board)

Over the last few days, DD discovered that if she pushes off with her feet while laying in my lap, she can eventually get to a point where her head hangs off of my lap/arm. This is apparently one of her new favorite positions - she LOVES hanging her head upside-down and looking around/chit-chatting in that position. The other day she even fell asleep like that! Now she's constantly pushing off and won't lie calmly in my lap anymore.

She also discovered that she can 'stand' and 'jump' a few days ago, so now she insists on constantly being put in a standing position. My arms are about ready to fall off!

Anyone else's LO develop and funny/interesting new preferences lately?

    My DS loves to do the "jump" thing to! Hell put weight on his legs for about half a second before he bends them and pushes off. I normally lift him way up in the air and he just laughs and laughs. I love it! and it wears him out to! haha

    His other favorite past time right now is talking to himself. I managed a straight 12 hours of sleep last night (I had a migraine) thanks to this habit! We go to bed at 10 (LO to) and DH feeds him at 7 before he leaves for work and puts him right back in bed. I have no idea how long he was awake before me but I woke up to him talking to himself and just having a grand ol' time. I leaned over the pack and play and he just smiled at me and kept talking. =)

    My little guy needs to be sitting straight up as of a week ago. Everytime I lay him on an incline at all he's in a crunch position trying to sit up. He growls/grunts until someone sits him up. It's a little tiring but it's really sweet

    The talking, for sure - she's a little chatterbox.  And we bought her a jolly jumper because she loves standing and wiggling so much.  She loves it.

    My LO loooves to stand up then sit down, and then repeat about 1000 times. She will not sit in her bumbo because she rather be standing. Just think of it as a good arm work out while holding your LO while their jumping ;)

    She talks non-stop, wants to nurse while looking at the ceiling fan, and nurses while touching my face.
