My sister found a sale on babyhawks. They are all xl though. Just how much longer are the XL straps? I tested out one with my niece and nephew with regular straps and it fit fine. I normally wear about a size 6 pre pregnancy. Would the XL straps be too long? It is a pretty good sale, but I dont want to end up with miles of straps that I don't know what to do with!!

The XL straps aren't that long. I'm a size 4 and actually got one with XL straps. They aren't very bulky so it's easy enough to tie back around your waist if you have too much tail. Or if you find they do get on your nerves, you can always hem them down a bit shorter (or a tailor could do it for probably about $10). If it's a good sale and a print you like, I'd go for it!
